Geppi’s Entertainment Museum

Wanna see my boss’ latest venture? This pop-culture museum (right beside Oriole Park at Camden Yards and across the light rail from the Baltimore Convention Center) has been attracting a lot of attention since it opened in September ’06, including this segment of Retirement Living’s The Daily Apple:

  1. It all becomes clear now. I was wondering who in Baltimore published comics…but Mr. Geppi…of course. I don’t know him, but I went to high school with two of his kids. I haven’t made it down to the museum yet, but I’m hoping to, as well as the Baltimore Legends museum this summer.

  2. Dude, that’s cool. It’s like a LOST cross or something. ;)

Which two Geppi kids did you go to school with? Don’t leave me hanging like that!

I have to be completely honest: I’m so lame. The Disney Comics crew (John Clark, Sue Kolberg, David Gerstein and myself) were there for a meet-and-greet a while back, and I barely left the gift shop where we were set up. So technically speaking, even after going there I still haven’t been through the museum!

  3. That’s funny, I’m the same way with the sports legends museum. I’ve been in that gift shop for probably hours, but never made it into the museum.

Anywhoo…Gina was a couple years ahead of me, and Josh was a couple years behind me in my sisters class. I’m sure that neither one knows me, but Josh may know my sister.
