Daily Bible Verse for Your iPod
I got this idea from an iPod “game” I saw a few months back (but whose name and URL I’ve forgotten). I’ve begun to take the ESV Daily Bible Verse and turn it into an iPod G5-optimized image. Here’s the one I put together for today’s verse:

This is really neat. I just read about what you are doing at the ESV Blog, and therefore posted about your endavor at Mobile Ministry Magazine. While this works great with iPods, it can work with nearly any device that can read RSS feeds.

I appreciate it, Antoine! My primary goal was to provide an alternative to the iPod’s “Notes” feature, but you’re right: they work in other ways, too.
One alternative would be for someone with, say, a WordPress blog to take this category’s Atom feed and plug it into an RSS sidebar module. Set it to display only the most recent item in the feed, and you’re good to go!

I don’t have an iPod that could use these, but THANK YOU for your contribution to the church.
I thank God for what you have done.
