Travis Seitler is a twenty-something guy living in Marietta, PA with his wife and two kids. Since 2003 He's been writing here about God, government and comic books. You can read more about him if you really want to, and you're invited to drop him a line, like, whenever!

Duty Calls…

I know, it’s like I’m rarely around here anyway! Still, some things have recently come up which, if I’m to handle them responsibly, will require as much energy and attention as I’m able to provide.

Because of that, I’m going to hit the “Pause” button (”Start” for you gamers) on this blog. I don’t plan to return before Thanksgiving.

If you want to know when I start posting again, please use the e-mail subscription form on the sidebar. All it’ll do is e-mail you when I update my blog — no spam! :)

I’ll see y’all!

#1. I didn’t yell at you — at least, not intentionally. I was teasing.

#2. There’s a difference between “I have a life, so I can’t be bothered to update a dumb blog” and “something has come up that requires me to step back from my blog for two months.” See? It’s all in the presentation. ;)

#3. If you’re going to advertise your blog ;) be sure to actually give a link to it!

    “FOUL!”

It may just be me, but isn’t it against the rules to go on sabbatical from a blog, and yet respond to comments left about your absence? It just seems a little counter-productive.
(Let’s see if you reply to this before Thanksgiving!)

What do you know about blogging? You \”blog\” from Myspace…

Responding to comments doesn\’t require the same effort as writing posts. A pastor can step down from the pulpit for a sabbatical, but still discuss his past sermons with people, right? This is the same sort of thing. 8)
