Win a Free Copy of Mickey Mouse Adventures!

Gemstone Publishing (that’s where I work) puts out a bunch of Disney comic books each month, including two 128-page manga-size series: Donald Duck Adventures and Mickey Mouse Adventures. This month, I’ve got two (2) copies of Mickey Mouse Adventures #10 (on sale July 5th) to give away! Here’s how to enter:
- Visit the
Disney Comics: This MonthMickey Mouse Adventures lens at Squidoo. (Oy vey! Squidoo accidently deleted the lens! No fear, I’ve got a backup…) - In the section highlighing Mickey Mouse Adventures #10, find the “win a free copy!” link and click on it.
- Fill out your name and e-mail address (required), type “The Farce Is With Me!” in the message box, and click “Send”!
- If you have a blog, spread the word and you’ll get an additional entry by linking to this post! (Just include your blog’s URL in the contact form when you enter — that way I know who to credit.)
UPDATE: This contest is open to U.S. residents only. (Sorry I didn’t specify that sooner!)
Entries must be received by June 30, 2006. Winners will be selected at random on July 1st. I’ll post the results here, and winners will be notified via e-mail. If you win, I’ll need your mailing address so I can send you your book (via USPS Priority Mail). If you include it with your entry (in the “Contact the Lensmaster” message box), I can send the books out that much quicker!

Love that cover! Not just cuz it’s Star Wars, but I’ve noticed that the coloring for the Adventures books is quite nice!

No, no — I was talking about the covers looking exceptionally nifty on the recent Adventures books.
Why yes, I did do a story in this one, didn’t I? Does that mean I get a free issue myself one of these days?

Y’know, you guys really ought to run an “Ultimate Donaldist Competition.” Come up with a slew of really tough Disney comics questions, and the winner gets like, a year’s subscription to every book and major bragging rights.
Thankfully, David Gerstein is on payroll already.

Is this what you get for speaking out against their advertising policy? Or did they view the Gemstone lenses as free advertising?
